If you’re into free-to-play online action RPGs, you’ll want to keep an eye out for game. It’s being developed by Airship Syndicate and published by Digital Extremes. I’m really excited for this game, and I can’t wait to see what it has to offer.
If you’re a gamer, you might recognize the name Digital Extremes–they’re the geniuses behind Warframe, one of the most popular free-to-play games out there. So when we heard that they were developing a new game called Wayfinder, we knew we had to get in on the action. The closed beta is coming soon to PC and PlayStation, and we can’t wait to try it out!
Wayfinder is Currently in Closed Beta for PC and PlayStation
If you want to get your hands on game, you’re in luck. Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes are hosting a closed beta in early 2023. During the beta, you’ll be able to explore the world of Evenor and fight against the Gloom that’s trying to take it over.
In this game, you get to play as one of many different characters called Wayfinders. They all have their own stories and skills. You can also choose from lots of weapons and equipment to make your character just the way you want.
If you’re worried about predatory monetization in free-to-play games, don’t be! Wayfinder is borrowing Warframe’s monetization strategy, according to a post from Digital Extremes. The specifics haven’t been announcements, but this likely means that Wayfinder will focus on selling cosmetics and bundles like Warframe does. Keep an eye out for more information!
How to Participate in the Wayfinder Closed Beta
If you’re interested in signing up for the Wayfinder Closed Beta, it’s easy to do. Just go to the official website and click on the “Enter the Gloom” prompt. Then, simply click “Sign Up” and you’re all set!
Now all you gotta do is select which platform you’re playing on, PS5, PS4, or Steam. Then verify your email and b-day. Lastly, confirm that you’re cool with us processing your data as specified in our privacy policy.
After you’ve done all that, you’re good to go! If you get selected for the Wayfinder Closed Beta, you’ll get an email from Digital Extremes. But if you don’t get picked, don’t worry – Wayfinder will be released for everyone in late 2023 on PS5, PS4, and PC.
