Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios are gearing up for the release of their highly-anticipated cooperative action game, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. To provide fans with an extended look at the game, the companies have released two new videos: a gameplay video and a behind-the-scenes featurette.
Cooperative Gameplay: “No Matter the Cost”
The first video showcases the game’s high-intensity combat, set against the vast, explorable open-world of Metropolis. In the game, players can enjoy the action-packed gameplay as a solo experience or a four-player online cooperative experience. The gameplay reveal gives a detailed look at the multiplayer mayhem that may occur, with each Squad member’s distinct traversal skills and attacks on full show.

Players can choose to control any of the four characters in the game: Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang. Each character has its own distinct skill set that is specific to their brand of chaos. Harley Quinn has wild acrobatics, King Shark has powerful leaping, Deadshot has aerial sharpshooting, and Captain Boomerang has lightning-fast speed force. Players can switch between characters on the fly to make use of their different abilities and execute coordinated attacks on enemies.
Behind the Scenes: “Out of Arkham Asylum”
The second video is a behind-the-scenes featurette that provides a closer look at the game’s world, characters, and development. Members of the Rocksteady Studios crew discuss the process of bringing the Squad out of Arkham Asylum and into Metropolis, the dynamic metropolis of tomorrow. The film also discusses the studio’s post-launch plans for fresh material.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League will offer free post-launch content upgrades to expand the plot with new missions and earnable characters, in addition to the large story-driven campaign, dynamic open-world, and action-adventure shooter experience. A cosmetics-only battle pass system will also be available to gain new clothes, emotes, and other stuff to uniquely personalise Squad members.
