Polish video game developer, Bloober Team, announced the release of Layers of Fear, previously titled “Layers of Fears,” for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in June. This latest installment in the narrative-focused, first-person psychological horror franchise will feature all downloadable content and the never-before-told story of The Writer.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game supports ray tracing, HDR, and 4K resolution for stunning visuals and a truly immersive horror experience. The game features three stories of craft-obsessed protagonists – The Painter, The Actor, and The Writer – interwoven to create a gripping storyline. The Lumen system offers a more visceral horror experience. The game’s hauntingly beautiful soundtrack is composed by Arek Reikowski, adding an extra layer of tension to the game.
