The action-packed game was initially set for release in 2022, and later pushed back to May 2023. In a social media post, Rocksteady thanked its loyal community for the continuous support and patience, while also assuring them that there is more to share in the months ahead. Fans of the game were given a sneak peek of what to expect during the State of Play broadcast for PlayStation, where an extended gameplay demo was showcased.
Some people didn’t like the live-service approach, but Rocksteady is reportedly sticking to its guns. The delay announcement comes as no big surprise, as it was reported in March that the game might slip to 2024.
