EA and Ascendant Studios have finally announced the official release date of their highly-anticipated single-player, first-person magic shooter, Immortals of Aveum. Set to be released on July 20, 2023, the game offers a brand new take on FPS conventions with its spell-based combat system and a fantasy universe filled with conflict and magic.

The five-year journey of the award-winning industry veterans of Ascendant Studios has finally come to fruition, with Immortals of Aveum being published by EA Originals, the label behind successful games such as Unravel and It Takes Two. Bret Robbins, CEO and Game Director at Ascendant Studios, expressed his excitement about the game’s release, saying, “We set out to create a cinematic, thrilling shooter set in a new fantasy world, with fast and fluid combat and an epic story. I can’t wait for everyone to play it.”
