When in Doubt, Progress the Story

In Resident Evil Village, you can’t just wait for the zombies to come at you. You have to walk around the village and find them. The closer they are, the more danger you’re in. Zombies will notice if you leave their line of sight for too long, so make sure you go back quickly before they get too close. If you see a zombie that looks like it has an item on its head or is bleeding, be sure to kill it right away because it could be carrying something important. There are also different types of zombies that behave differently and some may even be harder than others—you can tell which ones are by looking at their stats in your inventory screen.

Study Your Map Carefully

Your goal is to survive the zombie onslaught. You do this by exploring your village and gathering supplies, such as food, weapons, medicine, and other materials for crafting.

-You can explore the village by tapping on blue icons that are found on your map. These will then show up in-game as buildings you can enter. Tap on the building name or icon to see what is inside before entering it. -There are four difficulty settings: Peaceful (Zombies don’t attack), Normal (Zombies sometimes attack), Nightmare (Zombies always attack) & Insanity (Zombies always attack). The higher the difficulty setting, the better loot you’ll find; however, at higher difficulties zombies will also inflict more damage upon you while attacking.

Pick Your Weapon Slots, and Switch Between them

Mixing of guns is important. Try using the handgun for closer enemies, the shotgun for long-distance ones, and the machine gun for when you’re surrounded. Switch your weapons if the enemy doesn’t die with one gun because switching will give you an opportunity to put more damage on them. If you find yourself running out of ammo, it might be worthwhile to switch back to a pistol or the shotgun so that you can pick up some rounds from the ground.

Another thing you should do is switch weapons in order to make yourself more effective against different enemy types. For instance, zombies are slow and weak, so they can be killed off quickly by aiming at their head. Meanwhile, bugs have hard shells that make them tough to kill off easily even if they have low health points. Use handguns against zombies, but keep your machine gun handy for when you run into bugs. It may take some time before you get accustomed to making these swaps on-the-fly depending on your situation, but it will eventually become second nature as you play more of Resident Evil Village.

Your Knife Saves Ammo

Swapping weapons in the game can be tough if you don’t know what you’re doing. When you come across a weapon that is better than your current one, make sure to swap it out in your inventory. You don’t want to waste ammo on enemies that could have been killed easily by another weapon. Also, remember that knives will kill any zombie instantly (unless they’re wearing body armor). Try to avoid using melee combat as much as possible, but if you absolutely must, always use your knife!

– Always carry at least two types of guns. Your primary firearm should be at least semi-automatic so that you’ll always have enough ammunition when facing multiple targets or boss battles

– Don’t worry about spending money on new guns until the endgame where your entire loadout needs upgrades for those difficult bosses.

Smart Ethans Run Away

So, you’re new to Resident Evil Village and you’re running around aimlessly, getting chased by the undead. These tips will help you survive and get out alive.

– The zombies are slow, but they can run pretty fast if they see you. Don’t stop for anything. Better to run and fight back later than stay put and be surrounded by hairy monstrosities that charge at your brain faster than any human could ever run – Zombies can break through walls, so don’t hide in an enclosed area or give them easy access to the building where you work. Fighting them is not recommended unless you know what you’re doing, so I would advise running as fast as possible away from the horde of zombies attacking you and find someplace safe to hole up while they tire themselves out. You can come later to fight back with more equipment and powers.

Quick Turn will Save Your Life

Learn the importance of quick turns, where you walk in one direction for a few seconds, then quickly turn away in the other direction. You can use this tactic against virtually any zombie.

The best way to tell if there are zombies coming your way is by listening for their growls, which you can hear from afar. It might be tempting to use your flashlight all the time, but it will make you more visible to enemies. Be sure that when you do decide to flip on your light, it’s only for short bursts – 30 seconds tops – so that enemies don’t know where you are.

Remember that zombies often travel in packs, so don’t let them sneak up on you when they’re close enough for an attack.

Let Zombie Heads Move into Your Sights

Choose a location where it’s likely to pass by, raise your sights, and begin to walk backwards slowly. As you wait for the werewolf or vampire. Once they enter, start backing up quickly while continuing to fire at their head. If done correctly, they will be killed instantly and reward you with a sizable number of bolts.  You can also do this if there are two enemies coming in from both sides and have no way to get past them. Just shoot each of them in the head once as soon as they come into sight then continue backing up until you’re out of danger. You should have enough time for three shots before one zombie heads will lunge at you from an angle.

Make Use of Duke

Duke is one of the most helpful villagers you’ll meet in Resident Evil Village. He offers you advice, gives you some clues, and chats with you. You should also note that Duke has a story information, which is shared once you have interacted with him enough.  Once you’ve reached his story requirement, he will give you some hints about the storyline.  His house can be found on the left side of the game map, at the top.  If you chat with him enough (I believe it was three or four times), he will share an important clue about your adventure in the village.
