Overwatch 2 Single-Player Mode

Overwatch 2 introduces an exciting new single-player mode known as Hero Mastery, offering players a chance to prove their skills and set high-score records. This fresh game mode, launching this Thursday as part of a free game update, challenges players with an exhilarating obstacle course filled with training bots, jump pads, and various obstacles, as they strive to race to the finish line, as described by Blizzard.

Hero Mastery focuses on achieving the highest scores possible and allows players to step into the shoes of iconic heroes like Mercy, Reinhardt, and Tracer (with Sojourn and Winston set to join later in the season). In this mode, players will engage in intense battles against formidable training bots while collecting emblems, all while racing against the clock.

Compared to Overwatch 2’s existing practice range, Hero Mastery’s training bots are no pushovers. They include Tank Bots with robust HP and barriers, Rocket Bots armed with projectiles causing burst damage, and Sniper Bots attacking from long distances. In some scenarios, players will even need to protect friendly training bots. In addition to dealing with these bots, players must also strategically collect emblems to boost their scores.

Although Overwatch 2 now boasts a roster of 38 playable characters, Hero Mastery launches with only three available heroes. Each of these heroes in Hero Mastery offers three character-specific courses, each with increasing levels of difficulty. Blizzard has plans to introduce more heroes in future seasons, with Season 6 being the next one on the horizon, scheduled to run until mid-October.

To celebrate the launch of Hero Mastery, a limited-time event will run until September 25th, offering players a series of challenges to complete. Rewards for these challenges include weapon charms, souvenirs, sprays, and titles. Players can also test their skills on leaderboards, which will keep track of the top 500 players in each region.

Hero Mastery mode is accessible on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Read Full Reviews, Guides and Tips & Tricks of the Latest Games Click here.
