LUNARK

LUNARK, a 2D cinematic platformer in the style of ’90s classics, is set to launch on March 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam, and Mac. The game, developed by Canari Games and published by WayForward, will be priced at $19.99. Additionally, physical standard and collector’s editions will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch, which will be produced by Limited Run Games.

LUNARK

In LUNARK, players take on the role of Leo, an orphan with unique physical and physiological attributes, who embarks on a rebellion against a totalitarian regime controlled by an artificial intelligence called NOAH. As players traverse through 12 levels, they’ll meet a diverse cast of characters and encounter contextual cinematic cutscenes in a colorful and minimalist pixel art style.

Originally created as a solution to Earth’s unsustainability, NOAH initiated the LUNARK project to transport millions of embryos to the nearest superhabitable planet by turning the Moon into a spaceship. 300 years after the arrival of humans on the new homeworld of Albaryne, LUNARK, now in geostationary orbit above Albaryne, has become a symbol of oppression to a growing part of the population.
